Subject:                 LTP - Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP) FY 2008 Payment Schedule

Purpose:                To advise field offices of actions needed on FY 2008 EQIP payment schedules

Expiration Date:    September 30, 2008

Payment Schedules for use in 2008 EQIP contracts have been issued and approved:

  • Alaska EQIP On-Road
  • Alaska EQIP On-Road (BF/LRF)
  • Alaska EQIP Off-Road
  • Alaska EQIP Off-Road (BF/LRF)

The Beginning Farmer and Limited Resource Farmer (BF/LFR) payment schedules must be selected for BF/LRF applicants. These payment schedules are developed to provide the higher payment, which reflects the higher cost share these applicants are allowed to receive.

Designation for the use of either the On-Road or the Off-Road payment schedules is made based upon the County Equivalent/Census Area. This is determined based upon the location of the proposed project, when an application is entered in Protracts. A map of County Equivalent/Census Areas is located in Section I of the eFOTG, under the tab for maps.

The Payment Schedules have been uploaded into Protracts. The Excel file with the Payment Schedule should be copied to the field office "F" drive, and then used in Customer Service Toolkit as contracts are developed.
