I. Priority Enrollment Criteria (choose all that apply)
A. A priority enrollment where offered lands
currently have an existing CRP contract, scheduled to expire within the next
12 months, and are being offered for a 20 year rental contract or easement
(25 points)
B. A priority enrollment where offered lands are of high ecological value
and are being offered for a permanent easement. A justification must be
supplied separately and approved by the appropriate NRCS resource specialist
(25 points)
II. Additional Enrollment Criteria
A. Prescribed Grazing System (choose one)
1. The agricultural producer currently follows an
existing NRCS conservation plan including a prescribed grazing system,
applicable resource concerns are being addressed, and an additional
restoration agreement will not be needed
(15 points)
2. The agricultural producer is willing to develop and follow an NRCS
conservation plan including a prescribed grazing system and a restoration
agreement, if needed, to adequately address resource concerns
(10 points)
3. Management of the offered lands will not include an NRCS approved
prescribed grazing system
(5 points)
B. Forage Diversity (choose one)
1. The offered area is native grassland, rangeland, or shrubland
(15 points)
2. The offered land is pastureland currently managed for 2 or more species
of forage
(10 points)
3. The offered area is pastureland currently managed for a single species of
forage
(5 points)
C. Threat of Conversion (choose one)
1. The offered land is outside of a recognized city, town, or village,
but within 3 miles of those areas
