Beck Family Soils
Coarse Loamy, mixed, Typic Haplocryepts

Description:  Loamy very dark brown soils formed in eolian deposits with grass found on highly erodible shoulders of steep escarpments.  Strongly acid soils.

Vegetation:  Predominantly grass, with some areas of willow and alder

Parent Material:  Coarse loamy eolian deposits

Drainage:  Moderately well drained

Slope:  Gently sloping linear and convex shoulders of steep escarpments

Flooding: No flooding hazard
