Ekuk Family Soils
Sandy Skeletal, mixed, Typic Cryorthents

Description:  Sandy and gravelly very dark grayish brown soils formed in fluviomarine sediments with grass found on gravel spits. Slightly acid to neutral soils.

Vegetation: Grass

Parent Material:  Stratified sandy and gravelly fluviomarine sediments

Drainage:  Somewhat excessively drained

Slope:  Nearly level linear slopes on gravel spits

Flooding: Occasional flooding hazard
