Etolin Family Soils
Loamy, mixed, Typic Haplocryods

Description:  Loamy and gravely dark brown soils formed in eolian deposits and glacial drift with alder found on eolian hills, moderate iron relocation.  Moderately acid soils.

Vegetation:  Alder scrubland with herbaceous understory

Parent Material:  Moderately deep coarse loamy eolian deposits and glacial outwash over loamy skeletal glacial drift

Drainage:  Well drained

Slope:  Moderately steep convex backslopes and shoulders of glaciated hills

Flooding: No flooding hazard
