Histels, ice rich
Gacic Histels

Description:  Thick organics over loamy dark gray soils with ericaceous scrub and deep permafrost. Mineral soil moderately cryoturbated. Deep, ice rich permafrost.

Vegetation:  Ericaceous shrub and shrub birch scrublands

Parent Material:  Thick mucky organic matt over cryoturbated silt loam, sand, and peat in depressions on eolian plains

Drainage:  Poorly drained

Slope:  Gently sloping and convex
