Inakpuk Family Soils
Sandy or sandy-skeletal, mixed, Typic Dystrocryepts

Description:  Sandy, gravelly brown soils formed in alluvium with paper birch, white spruce, and cottonwood forest.

Vegetation:  Paper birch, white spruce, and/or cottonwood forest

Parent Material:  Very shallow to shallow loamy eolian deposits over gravelly and sandy alluvium on floodplains

Drainage:  Moderately well drained

Slope:  Nearly level

Flooding:  Rare flooding hazard
