Description: Thick organic mat over loamy gray soils formed in
eolian deposits with tussock and ericaceous scrub vegetation. Strong gleying in mineral horizons.
Vegetation: Tussock scrub vegetation
Parent Material: Thick (20-40 cm) hemic organic mat over silt
loam eolian deposits on eolian plains
Drainage: Very poorly drained
Slope: Nearly level to gently sloping, linear slopes
