Koklong Family Soils
Loamy-skeletal, mixed, Typic Cryaquepts

Description:  Loamy and gravelly dark grayish brown soils formed in alluvium with paper birch forest and grass.

Vegetation: Paper birch forests with grassy understory

Parent Material:  Very shallow silt loam eolian deposits over very deep alluvium on flood plains

Drainage:  Poorly drained

Slope:  Nearly level linear slopes

Flooding: Rare flooding hazard
