Lake Point Family Soils
Coarse Silty, mixed, Typic Humicryods

Description:  Silty, very dark brown soils formed in loess with dwarf scrub found on eolian hills, moderate iron relocation.  Moderately acid soils.

Vegetation:  Ericaceous shrub dwarf scrubland with moss understory

Parent Material:  Coarse silty loess

Drainage:  Well drained

Slope:  Strongly sloping linear and convex backslopes of eolian hills

Flooding: No flooding hazard
