Nichols Family Soils
Coarse Silty, mixed, Typic Dystrocryepts

Description:  Dark brown to very dark grayish brown soils formed in loess with willow and grass on eolian hills.  Very strongly acid soils.

Vegetation: Willow and/or cottonwood with grass or fern understory

Parent Material:  Coarse silty loess

Drainage:  Moderately well drained

Slope:  Strongly sloping linear backslopes of hills

Flooding: No flooding hazard
