Pellernaquq Family Soils
Loamy Euic Terric Cryofibrists

Description:  Thick organic mat (40-100cm) over loess with sedges and moss found in dips on plains.  Very strongly to moderately acid soils.

Vegetation: Sedge with moss understory

Parent Material:  Thick, mossy, fibric organic mat over coarse loamy eolian or alluvial deposits

Drainage:  Very poorly drained

Slope:  Nearly level linear and concave slopes

Flooding: No flooding hazard
