Qilak Family Soils
Loamy Terric Cryofibrists

Description:  Thick organic mat over loamy,  gray soils formed in eolian deposits with tussock and ericaceous scrub vegetation.

Vegetation:  Tussock and ericaceous scrub vegetation

Parent Material:  Thick (40-100 cm) fibric and hemic organic mat over silt loam and very fine sandy loam on eolian plains

Drainage:  Very poorly drained

Slope:  Nearly level linear and convex slopes
