Tunravik Family Soils
Coarse-loamy over sandy or sandy-skeletal, mixed, Typic Haplocryepts

Description:  Loamy yellowish brown soils formed in eolian deposits over glacial outwash with white spruce woodland vegetation.

Vegetation:  Whites spruce woodland with ericaceous scrub and lichen understory

Parent Material:  Shallow to moderately deep silt loam eolian deposits over sandy and gravelly glacial outwash on outwash plains

Drainage:  Moderately well drained

Slope:  Nearly level linear or concave slopes
