Ustiugof Family Soils
Coarse Silty over Sandy Skeletal, mixed, Typic Cryaquents

Description:  Sandy and gravelly grayish brown soils formed in fluviomarine sediments overlain by very shallow loess with grass found on gravel spits. Slightly acid and neutral soils.

Vegetation: Sedge or grass

Parent Material:  Very shallow coarse silty loess over stratified sandy and gravelly fluviomarine sediments

Drainage:  Very poorly to poorly drained

Slope:  Nearly level linear slopes in dips and other topographic lows on gravel spits

Flooding: Frequent flooding hazard
